| TCR Technologies, Ltd or TCR Tech is a new company that has been formed due to a need for independent gas turbine repair process and materials development experts with special emphasis on assisting their customers with manufacturing start-up associated with new processes, materials, and facilities.
We use scientific principles and techniques to provide low cost reliable
prototyping of projects when applicable prior to higher cost final
project implementations. Our company supports all versions and sizes of aero, aeroderivative, power generation and IGT powerplant turbine component repairs. This includes new materials and process development, and special process facilities support. Our expertise includes conventional and diffusion braze repair technology, diffusion and overlay coating technologies, alternate coating technologies, and weld repairs using GTAW (TIG), Electron Beam, PTA processes. The TCR Tech staff each have 15-20 years experience with several patents awarded to them recognizing their technical excellence and ingenuity. Their experience includes mechanical and environmental testing, new alloy and diffusion coating development, and metallurgical evaluations for process data. We have access to state-of-the-art equipment to perform our services. We have a Consultant FAA Designated Engineering Representative with the required special authorization for major repairs and alterations on staff to assist any FAR 145 repair station for new repair approvals or changes to previously approved OEM or FAA data.
